OK, no exaggeration. Achewood is easily one of the most brilliant comic strips you’re gonna find today, either online or off. Luckily for you, it’s online, runs five days a week, and costs you nothing (unless you wanna spring for the weekly color version, which I plan to as soon as I get a job again, natch). Creator Chris Onstad has developed over the last few years from a somewhat amusing guy with a computer to one of the sharpest and funniest comic creators today. The strip may not be for everyone - fans of Cathy may click away from the site screaming, for instance, but for anyone with a taste for the slightly bizarre (and even sometimes mildly disturbing), Achewood is, simply, The Shit.
