Alex Ross to be featured on Anthrax Live DVD

I’m just not in the loop sometimes. Hey, it happens to the best of us. So, when I heard that there was going to be a live Anthrax CD/DVD (off of the We’ve Come For You All Tour), I just marked it down on the calendar and waited.
Now, I know that you’re saying, “What does this music release have to do with the most prolific comic book painter of our time?” While others of you are possibly saying, “Who cares about that sellout?” Just keep reading, non-believers…
Mr. Ross, who created the cover art for Anthrax’s We’ve Come For You All CD back in 2002, is back on board with the artwork for their new live CD, Music of Mass Destruction, which bears a striking resemblance to a certain Marvel shield-slinging, alphabet forehead-wearing character. If you don’t believe me, see it for yourself.

The DVD, which includes footages from one of Anthrax’s sold-out concerts (The Metro in Chicago), also has a featurette about Ross as well as a day in the life of the band. If you’re a fan of either the band or Ross, this is one thing that you should not miss out on. I know I’ll be in Tower on Monday the 19th at 12:01 AM to get it. Maybe, I’ll see you there… Until then, METAL RULZ!!
