Kill Bosley?

Y’know, I loved the movies. Seriously. Caught them both opening weekend, and I’m chomping at the bit for the inevitable special DVD with the fancy edits and stuff. And I’m totally stoked about the rumors that Tarantino’s working on some Kill Bill comic book stuff. But am I the only person that’s realized that, underneath it all, Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2 are really, at their core, like an evil universe’s Charlie’s Angels?
Chew on that, fanboy.

Um, actually it’s kind of obvious. In fact, I think Tarantino has mentioned the Angels connection.

Well, shit - shows what I know, doesn’t it? In my defense, I’ve not seen anyone comment on that aspect of the flicks, and I was mightily impressed with myself for coming up with the comparison solo.
