Seems that even non-comic book sites are sussing out how poorly conceived the Keanu Reeves helmed HELLBLAZER flick is. I still maintain that there’s an outside chance that the movie may be decent in and of itself, just not as a John Constantine vehicle. Check out some of the comments that are being left at Sensible Erection where it’s been given a rating of +8 WTF.

Hollywood destroys another movie based on a comic book (Hellblazer) which had the potential to be somewhat cool. I think making John Constantine american was the first nail in the coffin, and casting Keanu Reeves was the second. Looks more like a 2 hour X-Files episode.
