Oh, you’ve GOT to be kidding me. Are there really comic book collectors that truly buy this sort of manufactured bullshit and honestly think that it’s worth more because it’s encased in plastic with a 9 or a 10 printed on it? I totally get the CGC thing when it comes to legitimately older and rare comics. Really, I do. But this - THIS - is beyond stupid. The best part? Dynamic Forces is going to be selling this crap on QVC, which means that they specifically had who knows how many slabbed ahead of time, which shows just how bogus the rarity and quality of Superman/Batman #9 really is. I freaking enjoy the hell out of the series, so I’m not ragging on the quality of the book itself, mind you. Just the quality of the people selling and buying it in this manner.

Aside from the poor old ladies who are buying this in the hopes that it pays for their grandchilds’ college tuition in 10 or 20 years, anyone dumb or desperate enough to buy this crap deserves to be hosed for the $50 or $100 or whatever obscene amount of money DF plans to hock this at.
