With my 16 year old nephew in town for the summer, I’m finding myself with an even better excuse than normal to slack off, read comics, belch and hit up the skate and toy stores. The other day we went to the local Toys R Us for a little windo shopping. In addition to the whole Teen Titans animated line - which is pretty sweet, even if they don’t have any girl figures - someone snuck out the new Batman toys from the upcoming cartoon. Now, my nephew wasn’t too keen on them because he doesn’t like the way Batman’s cowl looks, but I’m pretty stoked about the look. If I had more disposable income these days, I’d have probably bought a couple, but since money’s tight, I’m holding out for the badass looking 12″ Batman figure pictured on the back of the boxes. It is pretty annoying that they’re continuing with the non-sensical approach of offering 65 different Batman figs and only one bad guy (the Joker, natch), but I guess they know what they’re doing.

Digital photos are pretty cheap, so I figured I could afford some bandwidth burning in order to share some pics of the toys in their packaging…in case anyone’s interested. And, if you would, could someone let me know what the deal is with Inline Attack Batman? I’m drawing a blank on the meaning of that one.
