This morning around 7:45 a.m. PST I am sitting in my office working when I hear the morning DJ’s talking about X-Men 3, the movie, and announcing that it will feature Dazzler. This gets my attention immediately, especially when Nahum and Reesha, whose morning program I absolutely love, ask for someone who knows comics to call in with info on this Disco character.

I can’t contain myself, so I dial up, and tell them what I know- her first appearance, how her powers work, etc. Nahum says that he had the DC Comics Dazzler’s first issue and he swears she is a DC character. Now, I have never heard of a DC character like this, so I tell him no there is not. He doesn’t believe me, so I make them call my husband Jim, who works at a comics shop, wake him up, and verify that Dazzler is indeed a Marvel character.

My question is this: does anyone remember a DCU Dazzler? I sure as heck don’t, and neither does my self-appointed comic book demi-God husband. I think it was all just an early morning misunderstanding .
