For those of you who are reading out there, the daily review for Da Trades will be delayed today as I spent a good portion of 4 hours last night playing one of the best football games out there - NFL 2K5. I won’t spend too much time on this here but I remember back to the days of Tecmo Bowl and even the first NFL Gameday on Sega Genesis. Back then, I thought it couldn’t get any better. Wrong!

NFL 2K5 is a total immersion into the NFL on ESPN world. Killer graphics, good controls, in game highlights, current rosters and ESPN “personalities” are all present. I know that Madden has been the king of the football sim world for some time. But seeing this game out a month earlier than Madden and probably cheaper ($20 with no store discount), EA Sports may have lost some business, big time.
