Justice League Action Figure Concept Art

OK, so the figures themselves are nothing new. Aside from the impossible to find Wonder Woman figure, these have been on the shelves for months and months now, but that didn’t stop Mattel from having them on display at the SDCC last week. Even better than seeing the toys out of their boxes, however, was the big old presentation of concept art/pitch they had on the top shelf. See, I’m a sucker for this sort of thing, the bridge between the comics/cartoons and their 3-D plastic incarnations. The only thing that would have been cooler would have been the frontal and profile shots with full measurements and info - I love that stuff.
Click here to see all of the pics below combined into one big spread, just like the display.

A motorcycle for the Flash doesn’t make sense, rocket pack for Batman? If they need to create things for merchandizing. Why not just do that–add to the toys but not to the characters. If they’re not drawn that way in the original comics why add it. Sad.
