OK, I admit it. While I’m a fan of the Teen Titans cartoon, I don’t seem to be able to catch it on a regular basis and have only seen about 3/4 of the episodes aired so far. But that doesn’t mean I don’t get a kick out of seeing all the different fansites popping up online, or the kids running around with toys in hand, or the obvious love for the show people have as exhibited by the ransacked Teen Titans sections at the local TRUs and Targets. What it does mean is that I don’t know if the picture below has “spoilers” for the upcoming season or not. I know we saw Nightwing already in the episode that sent Starfire into the future, but I don’t recall seeing Arsenal at all, nor Doctor Light (that bastitch) or Starfire’s sister. Either way, I’m posting this pic because I think 4CR readers will get a kick out of it, and I haven’t seen this particular batch of toys online anywhere yet. And if it has been posted elsewhere, allow me my delusions and don’t kill my buzz.
Overheard in the booth from a female Bandai representative: “Yeah, we’ve been completely overwhelmed by the response we’re getting here from female fans. We didn’t realize there were so many – we’ll have to adjust to deal with that pleasant surprise.”
