Another SDCC post – and I’m sure I’ll dig a few more out of the photo album in the next few weeks. This one’s a cool one, though. Seems that if you have, oh, a couple of extra (10-15) thousand dollars laying around, you can wear the same Batsuit that Adam West once wore – possibly while being serviced by some Hollywood starlet, but I’m not gonna guarantee that. Here’s the pricetag…
Yeah, that’s right – it’s the outfit from Legend of the Superheroes, so it may have been a lesser-quality starlet at that point. Guess that’s something West and Burt Ward will have to talk about in a book someday… Here’s the outfit – Robin’s too. Click on the pic for a larger view.
The same booth had other costumes and props, including the Jim Carrey Riddler outfit, but that photo didn’t come out at all. They also had a nice framed piece of concept art from the Linda Carter (ah, Linda Carter…) Wonder Woman series. Looks like it was done before filming even started, as it’s all about figuring out what Wonder Woman’s costume should look like, be made of, etc. Pretty cool.
