OK, so this won’t be a true review in the classic sense of the word, but I just read the first issue of DC’s newMANHUNTER series after buying it on a whim, and it was really good. Seriously, what’s with DC and the quality new books lately? This, Bloodhound, even Firestorm = all quality. Good news for comic fans, but bad news for their wallets, I suppose. At any rate, yeah - MANHUNTER #1 brings the goods and has the potential to fit right alongside Gotham Central as one of those killer titles that probably isn’t going to get the attention or sales it truly deserves. Although, if this does really tie into the whole Identity Crisis storyline, then it may have a chance, and with the tone that issue one set, it could easily tie in without feeling forced…
