Also, not really comic book related, but something I felt I should share with everyone nonetheless. The picture below is of a flyer that was posted in the lobby of the hotel I stayed at for the 2004 Comic-Con in SD. Lest all the badass geekery that was going on and maintstream coverage and acceptance of the show lull you into a false sense of normalcy, let this serve as a constant reminder that there are bad places even at the SDCC. If I hadn’t been so concerned for my safety, I might have peeked in just to see what this collection of “people” looked like, but I resisted the temptation…
