In retrospect, it’s kind of hard not to admit that the Daredevil movie pretty much blew. Aside from Colin Farrell’s Bullseye, it was a pretty dire flick, and serves as a perfect example of why it’s sometimes best not to adhere too closely to the source material when adapting from the page to the screen. Still, the new footage that just popped up online for the Elektra movie looks promising. And hearing Garner say “I’ve read so many Elektra comic books. I realize how much this role means to people and I realize how much I don’t want to screw it up for them!” certainly comes off as earnest. Hopefully this’ll live up to the promise DD completely blew.
