OK, yeah, the Peanuts gang has been available on t-shirts, pajamas and just about anything for, well, the last 30+ years. However, at the recent MAGIC convention, which is to the fashion industry what E3 is to the gaming industry, United Media Licensing announced that they have a new line of Vintage Peanuts clothing in the works. Naw, my wife saw the booth, not me, but she said that the images are definitely not the slicker modern Peanuts characters that we’ve been stuck with for the last 15-20 years or so. I don’t know how far back the library goes for the clothing producers, but the 2 postcards my wife grabbed have artwork that’s defintitely older than what we’re used to seeing in the stores. As a fan of the earlier incarnations of Snoopy, I’m pretty stoked to see them using more range in their stuff. Here’s hoping for some decent Franklin material as well…
