Wonder Woman #208: Medousa and Veronica Cale show their true colors at the White House in this fast-paced issue. After months of development, it’s hitting the fan in a good way. Writer Greg Rucka has admitted it took awhile to do the character development needed to get to the pay off in this and following issues. Next month’s climax of the Medousa storyline will be the test.
Green Lantern #181: Kyle Rayner’s run ends here with a dignified script from Daddy Ron Marz. As sad as I am to see it end, I am also crossing my fingers that this is not the last we will see from Kyle. To me he is as much Green Lantern as any other character to have worn the ring.
Outsiders #16: Kyle’s ex-girlfriend Jade shows her true colors in this issue. After months of Nightwing and Arsenal throwing daggers at each other, things reach critical mass. This is an excellent issue for character development, and leads into the next storyline that features John Walsh from America’s Most Wanted.
Catwoman: When In Rome #1: A great lead issue. Selina Kyle travels to Italy to get to the bottom of a mystery surrounding the Falcone family. Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale have yet to let me down, and this new tale appears to be on exception. Great surprise: Edward Nigma in a strong supporting role.
Amazing Spider-Man #512: This current storyline is so far total crap to me. As much as I have enjoyed Straczynski’s run on the book, I can’t take much more of this Gwen Stacy is now a slut ordeal. Hitting it with Norman Osborn is just flat insane, and I can’t fathom it in my wildest dreams. First there was Trouble, the mini-series that pegged Aunt May as a whore, and now this? What happened to family values, People?
Marvel Knights 2099 Titles: Robert Kirkman is the king dog right now, and getting all the hot writing jobs. Where these 2099 titles fit in absolutely mystify me. If they are one shots, I don’t appreciate the humor, since part are cliff hangers. Can anyone tell me what the point was?
Have a great week, All! Here is hoping for some good reading next week at this time!

I agree 100% with you on Spider Man. Gwen is going to feel sorry for Osborn and jump in the sack with him? The love of Peter’s life sleeps with an arrogant creep like him. I could even accept Harry but Norman, no way! Plus Dedordo’s art is not where as good as John Romita, that is why I reading Wolverine to see his work.
