While I’d love to see a Superman/Batman movie happen someday, sadly it’s not in the cards right now. However, production keeps moving (Swinging? Flying?) on Batman, lensing right now, and Superman which looks like it’s finally going to get off the ground.

On the Superman front, Latino Review has posted that Brandan Routh, a former soap actor with a few other TV guest shots to his name, has been cast as the new Man of Steel. They’ve got the full story here: http://www.latinoreview.com/scoops/brandon-superman.html along with a nifty pic of Routh from last Halloween in which he is, conveniently, Clark Kent with shirt open to reveal the famous ‘S.’
