For the record, I have no real problem believing that this is indeed a Frank Miller piece of artwork listed on ebay, but man, the guy selling it is really doing a song and dance in order to attempt to get the $5000.00 he wants. Fella, it’s a sketch. Yes, it’s a very nice one, absolutely, but it’s still just a quick sketch. If Miller did indeed say all the nice things claimed in the auction, he was just trying to make the fanboy happy. Still, I must admit that the description does make for some interesting and amusing Monday Morning Reading.
Miller Expressed “This Is Cover Material” Upon Completion Of This
Commission. His OWN Assessment Of This Piece Speaks For It’s Self…As You Can SEE Below. This Is Not Your Common Pencil Sketch Most Artists
Do For Fans…This Is A Significant Piece Of Art!!!
Millers Choice Of POSE And Intensity. Clearly Indicate The Evolution,
Transformation, And Invincible Importance. That This Character Maintains
Today. While Actually Examining The Original Drawing.
One Becomes Consumed By Feeling The Passion. That Miller Had At The TIME
For This Character. The Detail In The FACE, Shoulders, ARMS, CHEST And FIST Are TRULY
Breathtaking!!!!The Mere SIGHT OF ONLY - The Left Hand With Blades Extended!!! While The
RIGHT Fist Is In Your Face. Is Utterly Terrifying To The Soul.I Sense That Miller Chose To Let The Recipient Of This Encounter LIVE.
