Well, as reported here at 4CR, oh, months ago, DC’s gonna be releasing a Batman mimi-series later this year from the acclaimed team of Steve Englehart, Marshall Roger, Terry Austin and John Workman. Turns out that the hype for this series will be starting sooner than later, with the book coming out this summer to capitalize on the Batman Begins flick. Yes, Silver St. Cloud will be back, as will the Joker, and the series will also see appearances from the Scarecrow, Two Face and at least one new character. The plot of the mini is, of course, not fully public, but apparently it does feature the Joker running for governor. Wonder if they’ll actually name the state Gotham’s supposed to reside in…

Expect to see plenty of interviews and more details in the months to come from CBR, Newsarama and other comic sites, and if we can come up with more info ourselves, we’ll be damn sure to pass it on.
