Oh….oh, this Sin City poster for Gail looks like freeze-dried crap on a stick. Luckily, the trailer is completely kickass, and the other posters aren’t nearly as godawful as this one is, with the Jessica Alba/Nancy poster standing out in particular as being quite nice despite what looks to be a typo in the top caption box. Still, I wish they’d stuck with the simple, and far more visually striking black/white/spot-color design that the original teaser posters had. I know the actual flick is going to be using some selective color in it beyond just the red and yellow, but the posters make it look really uninspired, and the use of Comic Sans instead of, say, the actual lettering from the comics doesn’t help much either. They aren’t so bad that they can kill my excitement about the flick, of course.

Jesus, I hope we’re not setting ourselves up for a let down of epic proportions…
