I noticed last night as I was reading the weekly stash that in the current issue of Madrox (#5), there’s an ad for a free 1-year subscription to Wolverine if you buy a 1-year subscription to the new Black Panther series. Even better, the sub will only run you $27.00 instead of the $36 cover price, so it’s a good deal all around. Well, if you like either character or John Romita Jr’s art, I suppose. But then, who isn’t a JRJr fan? Oh, and I suppose this may not go over too well with comic store owners. Personally, I drop enough $$$ on a weekly I’m not gonna feel too guilty if I decide to take Marvel up on the deal.
It’s only available online, so make with the clicky. The fine print says you need to subscribe by January 11 to guarantee Black Panther #1 being delivered, and the website says January 12. Considering that Madrox dropped just yesterday, I’m guessing this has been running for a while and I just didn’t notice. Oh well.
