If you were a 10-16 year old in 1987, then this has got to get your geek going. Don Murphy, producer of From Hell, Natural Born Killers Apt Pupil and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen recently announced Thanskgiving 2006 as being the official targeted release date of the live action/CGI Transformers movie. Considering how badass the fan-created shorts that have been posted online over the last year or so, there’s a decent chance that this could be quality stuff. Factor in the fact that Spielberg is on board as executive producer, and the odds go up just that little bit more. Bring on the Massive Robot Carnage!!!
