Shocker - Sex Sells on eBay

Did you ever have an auction that never seemed to draw any buying interest? Here’s an easy way to get traffic to your auction - put a semi-nekkid person casually near the object that is up for sale. Think I’m kidding? eBay newbie Auctioneer inthepin sold a Ping G2 driver for a cool $237.50 but what really drew over 35,000 hits to this specific auction was not the club itself but the picture of a naked man’s butt that just so happens to be in the adjoining kitchen next to the item.
Now, I don’t know the price of golf clubs to save my life so maybe the price was a good one for the winner but I can’t imagine a single golf club would drum up that many hits. Nevertheless, it appears that he has upped the exposure level (sorry for the pun) with the latest auction of another driver with the profile of a very voluptuous woman in the buff in the same kitchen. I’m surprised that the eBay police haven’t cracked down on this type of marketing but I’ve had a couple of bad auctions and if this helps sell my crap, I’m putting out an ad for “models” for my next auction.
Just FYI, this is probably not work-safe.
