This would be too cool, and in today’s weirdly self-censoring society, a pleasant break from the sanitized entertainment that makes up most kids-aimed ventures. I freaking loved “How To Eat Fried Worms” when I was growing up, and would be damn sure to give them my hard earned cash if the trailers look even half decent. Filming begins in mid-July under the directoral eye of Bob Dolman (writer/director of The Banger sisters).

The correct way to eat fried worms is, of course, with ketchup. If you have kids, treat them to the book now so they’ll be able to get a leg up on all their friends.
