I don’t know about you but some of us here at KFR are big fans of Lone Star Press’ “Pantheon”, a black and white superhero mini-series that was written by Bill Willingham (Fables, Robin, Elementals). For those of you out there that are turned off by non-Turnerized capes and tights books, Lone Star Press should release a trio of colorized trade paperbacks that collect the entire series plus any associated one-shots in the relatively near future. But to tide the fans over, it looks like there’s gonna be a Pantheon Script Book in July that will have the entire series and other Pantheon-related short stories that were in other LSP books (all with extra notes by both Willingham and the series editor/Lone Star Press publisher Bill Williams). Also, the book will include a never-published script that fills in the questionmarks concerning the relationship between two of the main characters in the series, Dynasty and Outrider. The only problem is that it may not be carried by Diamond Distributors for whatever reason. So if you have to, beg and plead your comic book store owner to get you a copy of this book. You’ll thanks us later, I promise.
