The 4400 Still Going Strong

Even though it’s numbers dipped down to 5.3 million viewers for it’s sophomore season’s premiere from over 7 million last summer, The 4400 still had the highest ratings of any non-sports programming on cable last week. Of course, I wonder how much of the decrease in ratings has to do with the fact that TV watchers are becoming more savvy, realizing that if they miss the premiere USA’ll be re-running it several more times throughout the following week. I know that I skip my HBO shows sometimes because they’ll be reshown either OnDemand or simply 2-3 days after the original broadcast. Either way, if the numbers remain steady, USA’ll definitely be keeping one more quality sci-fi show on the air. Hey, at the least it helps tide us over until the new Battlestar Galactica season starts.
