As Steve reported late in April, the Batman Begins 400 is at Michigan International Speeway this Sunday. If you’re not a NASCAR-type of person, you might’ve missed out on this synergy of superhero comics, Hollywood and the largest growing spectator sport in the good ole USA. And the phrase “NASCAR Dad” is becoming the new “Soccer Mom” (but probably not with the same type of sexual connotation). Plus, venerable driver Mark Martin, who is driving the #6 car with the movie images plastered all over the car, is planning to go into semi-retirement at the end of this season. So, with all of this stuff going on, tune in for a few laps. You’ll never know; you just might get hooked on races with all left turns.
