You know, kids do really love superheroes, especially if they’re furry and walk around on 4 legs. I remember tying a towel around my dog’s neck as a kid, thus transforming Frosty into Krypto. I’d have totally loved an even like this.

Calabro’s brother, Dominic, 8, tied first place with Mary Mast, 9, for the “best dressed super hero” pet. Dominic’s beagle, Pogo, donned a Spider-man costume complete with booties for the contest; Mast’s cockerspaniel, Blackie, wore a small Wonder Woman outfit, very similar to the one seen in comic books.
