For the longest time it seemed the only reason people had even the slightest idea what Domokun was was that kitty-eating picture that made the rounds in email boxes the world over. Since then, he’s popped up as a plush, on shirts, in other internet meme-ish pictures and who kows how many little tsotchkes. Now there are snow-equipped Domokuns hitting the market, and I would be shocked if we don’t see his mug slapped on various electronics appliances in the next year or so. Sure, the little guy’s got a long way to go before he’s actually hitting Hello Kitty’s marketing saturation point, but the little sucker’s trying his damndest!
