Why You Should Trust Newspapers

I know that this post may contradict my last one but bear with me on it. On Sunday, after feeling the warm glow that is internet justice from my last rant about print media not understanding the comic book medium, the Sunday edition of the Washington Post came out and blasted me with the cool air of righteousness. First, there was an article about good small press books in the hipper-than-thou Sunday Source as a reference to the upcoming International Comic Arts Festival that’s being held in the Library of Congress. Then, there were some great reviews (including James Kochalka, We3 and Scott Pilgrim) by Douglas Wolk in Book World section. So, basically what I’m saying is that you shouldn’t trust free newspapers (unless it’s the Washington City Paper which rocks).
