Seriously, why would anyone want to see this? Is there some sort of insane clamoring for more Al Roker in our lives that I’m simply unawae of? Some sort of underground movement to have him take over the world? It seems that I see Roker at least five times a week on a show or commercial or something, and frankly, the man’s omnipresence disturbs me.
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC weatherman Al Roker is developing a comedy series for the network tentatively titled “Meet the Rokers.”
The project, loosely based on the life of the “Today” mainstay, centers on a weatherman and father of two who realizes that he has become his own dad, for better and worse. NBC has given a script commitment to the project.
Roker, a noted author and sitcom cameo star, has been the weather and feature reporter on “Today” since January 1996.
