I had a very strange experience today when I went in pick up my comic books. For the first time in my life, I was the only guy in a comic shop full of chicks. When I walked in, something felt odd, but it only took a few minutes to realize that not only was the Friday clerk behind the counter a girl, but so were all of the other customers. The only other customer to walk in the door during this time was female as well, lending to the slightly surreal shopping outing. Not that this a bad thing, but it definitely made for a semi-odd 10 minutes or so. Girls buying and reading comics, and not just flocking around the manga section - whoda thunk it?
