X3 Pics Online, Trailer Arrival Imminent

With the big news being that the trailer for X3 will be hitting Apple’s website a some point today, USA Today has managed to garner some interest of their own by offering up several stills from the flick through a horrible, browser hijcaking flash interface. After conducting a completely informal survey this morning, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m the only person who thinks that The Beast looks like Danzig sprayed himself with blue paint in order to enter a costume contest. Of course, the only person that agrees with me about Bryan Singer’s Superman looking like he’s glued a pug’s tail to his forehead is my wife, so I’m used to being the odd man out in these matters.

You’re not alone, dude — you know I think both the X-Men movies and Bryan Singer are vastly overrated.

To quote the boss in office space, “Yeah…I’m gonna have to go and disagree with you on that.” I think Superman looks great — the trailer gives me chills. I really love both X-Men movies, so I’m giving Singer the benefit of the doubt. As for X3…I dunno. Brett Ratner? Ugh — the Rush Hour movies are two of the stupidest films I’ve ever seen. Beast looks good to me, fairly faithful to the comics, though I wish he looked more like the Morrison/Quitely Beast.
