Not content with the additional traffic and eyes generated by the X3 trailer, Apple quietly updated the iTunes store in the wee hours last night and added a slew of new TV shows for downloading. In addition to newer offerings such as the killer “Battlestar Galactica” and ridiculously fun “Surface,”, they’re also offering “Vintage NBC” series like “Dragnet” and “Knight Rider.” For a buck ninety-nine a pop, they aren’t a bad deal if you’re really jonesing for something to wile away the time on the subway tonight. Of course, while they’re meant to be watched mainly on a video iPod, you can always just watch them on your computer, or jack your laptop into your TV.
