Is “Ant” Any Good?

I’ve never read an issue of “Ant,” so I don’t want to make assumptions about its quality, but the covers that have been hitting the net since it launched as an Image title really make it appear to be the bastard undead child of Rob Liefeld’s early 90s career. I remember seeing the Previews ads prior to their Image launch, and while those also had a definite Polybag Age quality to them, it didn’t seem quite so pronounced, and I don’t remember them trying to sell the books on the sex appeal of a chick wearing a bondage mask decorated with feelers. So I ask you, if anyone out there’s actually read an issue of this book - is “Ant” any good?

It would truly by Liefeld/early 90s-esque if it was called “AntBlood,” “BloodAnt,” “BloodBlood,” or something like that.

Oh, man, that would be so freaking sweet. The remedial cherry on top of the stupidity sundae!

But shouldn’t it be spelled “blud”? And maybe put a “z” in there somewhere.
