This pic has been floating around for awhile, but it really shows the enormous potential of the Nintendo Revolution. LucasArts and Nintendo: please make this game!

The big problem with a game of this type is that there’s no way to stop the control in your hand from swinging when the opponent stops your sword on-screen. It’s going to be a huge block towards getting a game like this up and running.

Hmm I don’t know about that. The biggest thing is, we haven’t used it yet. But the controller does have force feedback — so if Vader blocks your attack, the controller rumbles. Also, Shigeru Miyamoto (Nintendo creater of Mario, Zelda, DK, and all around genius) has said the controller still has one surprise they haven’t announced yet. So we’ll really have to wait and see the full capabilities of the controller.

I’m hoping for something else cool. I don’t keep up much with video game systems, but I’m definitely in for the Revolution when it comes out — assuming it isn’t a complete botch job.
Until then, I’ll be playing Super Mario Striker and SSX On Tour on my trusty GameCube.

I love love love Super Mario Strikers — it’s pure, old-school fun. Revolution is offering something new, which is why I’m way more excited about it than any other system. To me, that’s the true definition of next-gen: how innovative something is.
