Man, that is the WORST post title I’ve come up with so far this year - I admit it. Still, at $3.99 a pop for a three issue mini series, I’m gonna have to wait and hope for a TPB for Narwain’s newly announced mini series, “Bluff.” In today’s market, I just don’t understand why any publisher, outside of the big two, would release such a short story as individual issues rather than a fresh OGN. DC got away with it for Ellis and Morrison’s stories last year (then jacked the customer on the TPB prices for We3 and Vinaranama, but that’s another story), but generally speaking, I don’t get the 3 issue mini concept. Just package it all up for ten bucks, even if you have to shrink it to manga/digest size, and let it loose on the world.

It’s especially annoying now that I’ve seen the promo image for “Bluff.” My wife is a nut for bull terriers (well, for bullie breeds in general), so I know she’s gonna “oooh” and “awww” over the cover. If Narwain collects it, it’s a sure shot for the upcoming spawn’s library.
