This is kind of interesting, especially on a slow news day like today when the rest of the world is recovering from another boring-ass Golden Globes show. Some company by the name of JivJiv will allow anyone to create, upload and sell their own ringtones. The selection right now is mainly comedy based, as well as “get you into trouble with your wife/girlfriend” based judging by the amount of personalized entries by one Elsa Powell. The musical entries are seriously lacking, but I could see the right indy band doing quite well with the JivJiv setup.
