While it’s hardly the first comic for the PSP, Konami’s announcement that they’re producing Metal Gear Solid interactive comics for the handheld is still a notable one. Featuring art by Ashley Wood, I’m sure that if the price is kept reasonable, Konami might actually have something here. I’m not sure if it’s simply a re-formatting of the printed MGS comics that IGN published or if it’s all new material, but either way it’s a step in an interesting direction, especially if by “interactive” they mean “choose your own adventure”. Those books simply ruled when I was a kid.
