If you’ve always wanted to be a director, but never had the money, time or available people to shoot your own movie, then Michela Ledwidge is looking for you. Well, not looking for you, exactly, but she’s willing to let you cut, chop, tape and remix her film, “Sanctuary ” into anything you want. She’s put all 9 hours of raw footage she shot for her 10 minute long flick online for you to do with as you please, as well as sound effects, storyboards, etc. Ledwidge envisions a community springing up around this idea that’s not dissimilar to those that gathered to mod open source games like Quake and Marathon back in the day.
