This is an interesting blog post that not only gives you the story behind the Batman & Robin album that was released in 1966 and has since been a staple at swap meets and flea markets nationwide. Interestingly enough, the music was all based on public domain songs in order to keep production costs to a minimum. The post also offers the entire album for download in mp3 format. I personally never much cared for the show as a kid, but the music on this record is the goods and’ll make a perfect addition to my iPod playlist once I replace the damn thing.
