I’m friends with Mike Shinoda’s (of Linking Park) brother, and I found out ahead of time that Paul McCartney called Mike personally to see if he could play with LP and Jay-Z on the Grammys. When Paul played Helter Skelter that night, I thought for sure that Jay-Z was gonna come out and they’d do the Danger Mouse version of the song. Oh well. Paul ended up singing “Yesterday” with Jay-Z and LP instead.
Sounds like a future classic.
