You all know about Penny Arcade, right? The webcomic that’s so freaking popular the strip’s creators have parlayed it’s fame into running a successful video gaming convention every year, as well as raising over a million dollars for children’s charities over the last several winters? Welp, today they’re talking about the Jim Lee/DC MMORPG news that was announced at last weekend’s NYCC. At one point, Gabe busts out with his thought that DC should just go with the old school Alex Toth designs from the Superfriends show, and drops this SWEET Green Arrow character model sheet into his post to prove his point.

I like Jim Lee’s art quite a bit. But damn, Gabe makes a strong freaking case against reinventing the wheel.
