Natalie Portman Pimps “V” On “Daily Show”

For the longest time, I really didn’t see the appeal Natalie Portman had over geeks. Sure, she’s attractive enough, but no more or less than dozens of other actresses. Then I saw “garden State” and realized that she’s just totally charming - freakishly charming, even. Well, the charm continues off screen as well, as this interview from on of last week’s “The Daily Show” episodes. Stewart interviews Portman about “V For Vendetta,” German death metal and being hit on in coffee shops by imaginary poets. As an added bonus, I’ve left on Stephen Colbert’s pitch to Portman to star in the movie adaptation of his novel.
