While I don’t get many of IDW’s titles, it’s mainly due to my limited income these days rather than the quality of their publishing line. Case in point - “Tommyrot: The Art of Ben Templesmith” is their newest announced title, and the cover art is amazing. I remember the first time I saw Templesmith’s work, on an issue of some web-published project. Even then, I was impressed with his painting, and couldn’t believe that this guy was producing such amazing work for a low-to-no paying gig. Tommyrot will feature many of the major images and covers from many of Templesmith’s books as well as never before seen unpublished paintings and personal work, including looks behind the scenes into his distinctive artistic process.
