First Nintendo Revolution Screens and Game Info!

The first screens of any game for the Nintendo Revolution have leaked to the web: UbiSoft’s Red Steel. The game, a first person shooter that will take full advantage of the Revolution’s innovative motion-based controller, will be available at launch.
Most exciting is the gameplay tidbits: swords and guns, manipulated via the Rev’s controller (i.e. no joystick!) can be twisted in your hand, simply by twisting the controller, to fire gangsta-style or make a direct cut with your sword. Grenades can be rolled if you make an underhand motion with the controller, or can be lobbed if you make an overhand motion.
The pics below come from the next issue of Game Informer (the cover can be seen below), where there’s a huge blowout of info on the game and the Rev. For a system that Nintendo said wouldn’t be as powerful as the 360 or PS3, this game game looks damn good. Head on over to Go Nintendo for larger versions of the pics below, and a helluva lot more, including more screenshots and info on how the game will make use of the controller.
