TMNT Going Mobile

4Kids, best known these days as the guys that hock those scary-ass Bratz cartoons (pre-pubescent hootchie girls - who knew that would sell?) have announced that their other big property, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has been licensed to uClick to develop mobile phone content. One of the things they’re offering is comic book content, though it’ll probably be that Archie-style TMNT stuff and not the superior Eastman and Laird B&W work, I’m guessing.
The mobile content to be offered by uclick will include wallpapers, screensavers, games, video and mobile comic book readers. The lineup, set to launch this summer, will feature all of the characters from the comic books and animated television series, which airs on Saturday mornings on 4Kids TV on FOX. uclick mobile will also provide offerings to coincide with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CG-animated feature film to be released in early 2007.
