All Star Superman #3

The other day, I finally got to the comic store after a month of learning the new dad ropes and of all the books I picked up, “All Star Superman” is hands down the best. Seriously, this might end up being the greatest superhero comic book of all time. It’s already the ultimate Superman comic, and each issue just makes me remember again why I love comics. Sure, the wait between issues seems like an eternity, but I’d gladly wait a year between installments if it meant Morrison and Quitely can maintain the level of quality they’ve established. If DC doesn’t collect this in one of their Absolute editions as soon as the last issue is published, I may fall into a deep depression.

OK, how about best solo superhero comic, then? Because, I’ll admit that Morrison’s JLA run is really hard to top.

Starman was better than Morrison’s JLA.

Steve - both you and Daniel are spending too much time on the internet. Go read Englehart/Rogers Batman, Stern/Romita Jr. Spider-Man, Miller/Miller DD, Simonson Thor, hell…I can type ‘em for hours. Yes, Morrison Superman is an enjoyable read. But “BEST”. Come on. After 3 issues? You need to set your standards a little higher.

Steve — you’re right about the time on the internet thing. BUT NOTHING ELSE!!!
