I think a little bit of both.
Yeah, I think they started in the late 60s (check the Woodstock movie), had their own show in the late 70s after “Grease” blew up, and then petered out in the early 80s. I seem to remember seeing them on Solid Gold…but maybe that was some weird ass dream.
