If I was in the WB publicity department, I’d be trying to spin this into movie press as fast as I could!
Two masked men held up the Speedway on Beechmont Avenue in Anderson Township around 12:30 a.m. Monday.
One of the suspects, disguised as Superman, held a semi-automatic handgun to the clerk’s head.
911 dispatcher: “Were they armed with anything?”
Clerk: “Oh, hell yeah! I had a gun stuck to my head! Both of them were armed with guns, one wearing a Spiderman mask!”
Clerk: “Dude, they had me, took me in the back room, made me lay on the floor!”
911 dispatcher: “Okay, one had a Spiderman’s mask?”
Clerk: “Well, yeah. It was a cloth mask, man like a skull do-rag.”
911 dispatcher: “You’re not injured or we need an ambulance for you?”
Clerk: Dude, no I’m not injured, I mean I’m just scared.”
Spider-Man just shouldn’t be scaring people. That’s not cool.
